Wells is brought brilliantly to life by historian and spirited lecturer Sloane Meyer.  From beloved masterpieces like The Time Machine and Invisible Man to The War of the Worlds, that perennial classic about an alien invasion that struck fear in the heart of a nation, Meyer takes you on a roller coaster ride through the imagination of one of our greatest authors. 

If you like, after Sloane's presentation, stay and watch the original movie version of The War of the Worlds on the big screen!
