Ever wonder how Native Americans lived before Europeans arrived? Author Mark Warren will discuss how intimacy with and reverence for nature dictated the daily life of the Cherokee.

Learn about Cherokee crafts, weapons, hunting techniques, philosophies, religion, clothing, tools, medicines, and games. This program will also cover the fate of the Cherokee Nation after the arrival of Europeans, and the infamous Trail of Tears, which had a trailhead in Forsyth County at the Etowah River.
