Great Decisions is America's largest discussion on world affairs. Forsyth County Public Library and the University of North Georgia (UNG) will present information and lead discussions on a range of fascinating and timely geopolitical topics. Learn more about Great Decisions 2021 topics on the library's blog.

Each session will be held virtually via FCPL's GoToMeeting platform and will be led by a member of the UNG faculty. Great Decisions 2021 topics include:

  • February 17: Global Supply Chains and National Security
  • February 24: Persian Gulf Security Issues
  • March 3: Brexit and the European Union
  • March 10: Struggles Over the Melting Arctic
  • March 17: China's Role in Africa
  • March 24: The Korean Peninsula
  • April 7: The end of globalization?
  • April 14: Roles of International Organizations in a Global Pandemic

Registration for each Great Decisions program is required. GoToMeeting links will be emailed to all registrants prior to the programs.
